OCEANS HEALTHCARE is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Abilene, TX

Under the supervision of the SVP, Human Resources the Human Resources Coordinator functions as a support person for the HR Operations team to include payroll support, benefits support and general HR support. Performs exemplary customer service and assistance to employees, executives and HR Directors.

Essential Functions:

  • Support biweekly payroll processing to include reviewing and processing information entered into the HR/payroll system, providing reports as needed and other related tasks.
  • Reviews and updates the PTO accrual information in the payroll system.
  • Initiates onboarding for all Plano Support Center new hires as well as supporting the onboarding process for Texas providers.
  • Assisting in the management of the payroll system to include security setup, setting up surveys as requested and pushing out notifications as needed.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientation for the Support Center.
  • Manages the HR helpline and HR inbox and answers questions or triages questions to the appropriate party. Ensures the mail for the HR Operations and Payroll teams is distributed to appropriate parties. Support the texting platform for all locations.
  • Manages the day-to-day 401k administration to include enrollment review, contribution uploads, ensuring integrity of the 401k data and processing requests as directed by the 401k third party administrator.
  • Assists with daily benefits administration to include responding to requests received through the HR helpline or HR inbox.
  • Respond to unemployment insurance requests.
  • Provide BLS monthly labor reports for designated facilities.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Educational / Experience Requirements:

College education preferred. Must be proficient with technology and reporting using MS Office Suite. Minimum of 2 years of work experience. Experience in the human resources field preferred.

Qualifications / Skills:

Able to read and write. Computer literacy, strong verbal and written skills. Well organized, flexible, and responsible. Able to communicate knowledge in an educational arena. Possess good communication skills, both oral and written. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Heavy, high paced workload requires high energy and excellent organization, time management, and analytical skills. Able to work tactfully and cooperatively with a variety of internal and external customers. Ability to work with minimal supervision, think globally, and simultaneously manage multiple details.

Work Environment:

Subject to many interruptions. Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. This position can be high paces and stressful; must be able to cope mentally and physically to atmosphere. Work requires spending approximately 90% or more of the time inside a building that offers protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
